I agree with 'test'. Especially since China's show of 'power' in the same mode...another of virtually the same strength in order to show similar power retains the Cold War in Modernicity...big boys with big guns and as long as they dont shoot them at me, play away...the ego-factor here is just SO apparent...my 'gun' is bigger and better than yours is! I suspect the hydrazine hazard is much overstated; the fuel tank(s?) were NEVER designed to survive re-entry...it would have been designed to burn completely.

Even if most of the hydrazine is still aboard due to its shortened operational life, 1000lbs would make nothing more than a perhaps a pretty plasma light show smear on re-entry.

The vehicle/technology itself? It would have NEVER been designed to survive re-entry, either.

Which leaves me with the obvious; what is it they say onstage before rock concerts?
